Discipline: Snowboarder Resorts Visited:From: Kanagawa, Japan Contact:mayumi@japanpowder.com Favourite Resort: Hoshino Resorts Tomamu "Tomamu Resort is one of my favourite family ski resorts in Japan. There are many things on offer, and you wont get bored! There are 2 hotels, if you want a luxurious hotel you can stay at Hoshino Resorts Risonare, the rooms are large with a sauna and Jacuzzi with a view over the resort. Also they offer free coffee and a glass of wine upon check in, I am sure you will have a romantic trip!

The other hotel is Hoshino Resorts Tomamu the Tower, there are two beautiful designed towers ski in ski out, with more than 20 restaurants, with picturesque views from the restaurants and rooms. The hotel also features bars, an onsen and a large indoor swimming pool.

If you want to try something different, you can try a Cat Ski Tour on the weekends. The ice village is one of the major highlights in Tomamu and includes an ice bar, ice restaurant, ice cafe, skate rink and much more.

Many of my customers come back to me saying that they enjoyed Tomamu and want to return!! I think you will also enjoy Tomamu" Josh Director

Discipline: Skier + Occasional Snow Boarder Resorts Visited: 17 From: Gold Coast, Australia Contact: josh@japanpowder.com Favourite Resort: Hakua Goryu"I first skied in Hakuba Goryu in 1992, conditions were fantastic with lots of fresh snow and no crowds, I couldn't wait to come back!

Hakuba Goryu is a huge twin resort joined by ski runs and by road across the bottom linking the three base stations (Escal Plaza, Iimori and Hakuba 47), there are two gondolas and over 20 runs that make Hakuba Goryu and 47 one of Hakuba's biggest resorts.

Offering something for everyone including the biggest night ski area in Hakuba, wide beginner slopes, double black runs, long wide and challenging intermediate slopes, powder runs and powder bowls and incredible tree skiing, not to mention the Hakuba 47 Freestyle Park and half pipe!

We have many customers who love coming and staying in Hakuba Goryu and one family are booked to come back for their 9th year in a row, if you want the best of Hakuba while still maintaining a quaint Japanese village atmosphere in a beautiful alpine setting then Hakuba Goryu is what I highly recommended to all my customers."
